Production of computer hardware accounted for 43% of total output in 2015, production declining by 20.3% in local currency and by 43.5% in US dollars. In constant exchange rates output is forecast to decline by a further 25% in 2016. In local currency, the production of wireless communications equipment has shown double digit growth but due to the on-going economic situation is forecast to decline in 2016.  In June 2016, Sony announced it would end production of smartphones undertaken by Foxconn and Arima in the country. Production of consumer products accounted for 9.3% of total electronics output in 2015. Production of colour TVs is predominantly undertaken in the Manaus Free Trade Zone with, according to ABINEE an estimated 9.5 million produced in 2015, down from 12.7 million a year earlier and 12.9 million in 2013.
